Lupin Aptivate Achchi Bhook School Foodie Quiz 2023 Season 2: The Prelims concludes with a resounding success

Immersing your child in a food quiz experience is an excellent method to help them develop a love for eating healthy and thoughtfully. Keeping this in mind, Lupin - a specialty and generic drug manufacturing global company with offices spread across the world - decided to team up with HT School and Slurrp for Lupin Aptivate Achchi Bhook School Foodie Quiz 2023 - Season 2. The Prelims of this nationwide tag-team championship was held on 4th November, where a child and one of their parents formed a foodies team and proceeded to crack the code to healthy food. It received a whopping 12,600 registrations in all, setting the stage for cooking up a storm with their collective food quotient, and knocking on the doors of an Asian and National Record too!

Conducted asynchronously on the Kahoot! platform, the Prelims saw enthusiastic family teams (child + parent) battle it out over a plethora of topics comprising almost three dozen interesting food-based questions. However, as per the rules of the quiz, only the top 150 ranks will be able to advance to the National Grand Finale slated to be held on Zoom on November 18. While all the contestants from the Prelims as well as the Finale will receive digital participation certificates, the Top 40 ranks in the National Grand Finale will receive prizes worth ₹1.3 lakhs in Amazon vouchers.

Sharing their enthusiasm about India’s most loved online food quiz, a spokesperson for Lupin Life reaffirmed the Aptivate Achchi Bhook Foodie Quiz's commitment to igniting an appetite for good food and enthusiastic eating among young Indian children aged 5 to 11 years. Mouthwatering brainteasers kept both children and parents alike spellbound, such as which popular laddoo variant gets its name from the fact that its appearance resembles that of ‘crushed pearls’ (Motichoor Laddoo); British Bangladeshi chef Ali Ahmed Aslam is credited with inventing which popular world-famous “Britain’s favourite curry” dish, whose recipe he claimed to have devised after a customer complained that his meal was too dry (Chicken Tikka Masala); which famous American city is famously associated with a pizza variant called the Deep Dish Pizza (Chicago), the popular dish of Middle Eastern origin that gets its name from the Turkish word ‘Çevirme’ meaning “turning”, a reference to the turning rotisserie necessary in its preparation (Shawarma); what catchy combo name is given to a new type of burger that is filled with two pieces of (usually fried) momos (Moburg); and what healthy vegetable lends its distinctive red color to both Borscht – a meat soup of Ukrainian origin, and Kanji - a Rajasthani drink served during Holi, due to its use in their preparation (Beetroot).

What makes this appetising virtual quiz played by 2,600 users on a bright Sunday afternoon even more special is the fact that it is on the cusp of getting validated as India’s Biggest Online Food Quiz by the esteemed jury of both the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.
