The long-anticipated Hindustan Olympiad, one of the largest Olympiads in India is back with its 8th edition. With a proud legacy of seven years, the online Olympiad has so far empowered over 11 lakh students spread across more than 20,000 schools, by giving them a one-stop platform to contest at a nationwide level. Among them, over 11,000 students have been felicitated till date with scholarships worth INR 2.5 crores.
Meant for all students of grades I to XII, Hindustan Olympiad 2023 focusses on all subjects and rewards every contestant with a participation certificate as well as a performance assessment report. In fact, unlike most exams, it assesses the overall academic development of students, alongside improving their memory, structural thinking and garnering a spirit of healthy competition. The icing on the cake is of course INR 50 lakh worth scholarship and trophies that are up for grabs, alongside exclusive media coverage. Interested candidates can register for INR 200 here.
The 2023 edition of Hindustan Olympiad has Amrita University as its presenting partner. “We are delighted to partner with the Hindustan Times for the Hindustan Olympiad 2023. In 2023, Hindustan Olympiad will be held in both online and offline modes. For the online mode, the Level 1 of this Olympiad is scheduled to take place 1st to 3rd March 2023, while Level 2 will be conducted on 12 March 2023. The offline exams will take place from 1st to 3rd March 2023.

The exams will be divided into two parts. The first will be an open-book exam to garner mass participation. It is called Level 1. For Level 2 or the final stage, top 10 per cent will be shortlisted and take part in a proctored exam. This year, the focus will be on the students hailing from India’s Hindi heartland namely, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttarakhand. Metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh will also be covered.
The hour-long exam will comprise of multiple-choice questions that will be in both Hindi and English for wider participation. For grades I to V, the subjects included are Mathematics, Science, English and General Knowledge, while students of grades VI to XII will have to focus on logical reasoning apart from the aforementioned.
For the district and state champions, the topper of each class will receive cash prize of INR 2100 and INR 5100 respectively, alongside merit certificates.
Hindustan Olympiad was launched in 2015 and went all-digital in 2020. More than 60 per cent schools that know about this nationwide Olympiad enrols every year with repeated participation coming from over 70 per cent schools. Last year alone, more than 75,000 students took part in the Hindustan Olympiad.
