A new study by scientists from the US and Europe recently revealed that the atmosphere of Venus is so low that even the most draught tolerant of Earth's microbes won't be able to survive there. However, they also found that there is possibility of life in Jupiter as the clouds of this planet meet the water requirements. Here are the other key findings of the study:
Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system and the closest to Earth
The amount of water available in the clouds of Venus is over 100 times less than that required for the survival of the most resilient micro-organisms known on Earth
The findings are a new refutation of an earlier study, in 2020, which announced the detection of Ph3, in the clouds, and known to be produced by bacteria on Earth.
