Climate change has affected our environment in quite drastic ways. The rate at which different species are going extinct has been steadily increasing, more and more natural habitats are getting destroyed by droughts and fires, and there have been significant irreversible changes in our ecosystem. Recently, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has shared some data through its Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) about the current state of our environment, its effect on climate change in the categories of oceans, forests, species and systems. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change.
