Turning Red will be the first Disney movie of 2022, all thanks to Pixar. The intriguing plot follows Mei Lee, the 13-year-old protagonist who amusingly transforms into a giant red panda whenever she experiences excitement or emotion. What’s more is that it has been designed and produced as 3D film- and if all goes to plan, it will be released in theatres for audiences to experience in its full glory. However, due to the severity of the pandemic, currently it looks like it will be released on Disney+.
Lightyear

Loved by kids and adults alike, the Toy Story movie series needs no introduction at all. This time, one of its favourite characters gets his own spin off. In this film, Buzz Lightyear, the most famous astronaut amongst kids, will explore the universe to infinity and beyond. The film has a star-studded voiceover cast which includes Chris Evans and Taika Waititi. As of now, it has been scheduled to release in theatres this June.
Minions: Rise of Gru

The adorable minions are back again after a two-year-long delay due to the coronavirus pandemic. The movie will primarily focus on one character, Gru and follows his story of emerging as a villain amongst the rest of the minions. As of now, the movie is planned to release in theatres.
