As we step into 2022, we have all come to realise that life will fluctuate between lockdown and New Normal, but will not get back to what it was in 2019 for at least the next 2 years. Meanwhile, we have to be prepared to attend classes, teach, work and be entertained from home. Here’s a list of digital essentials to make remote learning smooth for students of all ages.
Wireless keyboard and mouse
Being chained to the laptop or computer is neither ergonomic nor sustainable for long hours. Besides, as typing becomes a heavier requirement for students, laptop keyboards are getting damaged faster, affecting the life of the machine. An easy, cheap solution is buying a wireless keyboard and mouse. Instead of buying a whole new laptop or replacing the keyboard often, it’s better to invest once on an external keyboard connected via Bluetooth, usually via a USB device. Webcams are handy for both teachers and students, for both desktops and laptops. Webcams play an essential role in online interactive sessions and tutorials, providing clear visuals and a better clarity.

Headphones with noise cancellation help in concentrating more on classes, and Bluetooth connectivity mean wireless convenience. Headphones had been associated with music and office calls. But now online classes have taken their use further, and it is for the benefit of all.
