All about apprentice jobs for students in Indian Railways
Indian Railway’s Recruitment Board has recently announced that they have around 16000 vacant positions and are looking to hire apprentices for several zones across the country. The total number of seats available are 16510 in Eastern Railway, South Central Railway, North Central Railway, East Central Railway, and West Central Railway zones. School pass-outs can apply for these positions. The application process is currently ongoing for school pass-outs and interested candidates can log on to the official website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) and get themselves registered. Selection will be done completely on the basis of merit.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates should be Indian nationals with valid identity proofs.
- Candidates should have successfully passed their class X or class XII board exams with minimum 45% for general category and minimum 40% for reserved categories.
- Candidates should also have an ITI degree certificate from a recognized university for the relevant trade they are applying.
- 20% seats will be reserved for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
