Cadence Scholarship Programme: A financial aid for UG students

The Cadence Scholarship Programme 2022-2023 is a collaborative initiative by Candence Design Systems Private Limited and Concern India Foundation to provide financial assistance to meritorious young students in India who belong to the economically weaker sections of the society and grant them opportunity to continue with their higher education. Their scholarship campaign motto is “Joining Hands: Be a part of Change.”

This scholarship programme was launched in 2016 as part of the companies’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and has since then benefitted 333 deserving candidates pursuing undergraduate degree or diploma or professional courses across India. The deadline for submitting application for this scholarship is 30^th May 2022. Here’s everything aspiring scholars need to know about this grant-in-aid.

Eligibility criteria

All applicants must be Indian nationals and pursuing college education in India.
Applicants should be residing in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Pune only.
Applicants should have successfully passed their 10+2 curriculum with 60 percent or above under any stream.
Students who are presently studying in class XII but are yet to appear for their school finals may also apply on the basis of their previous academic records.
Applicants’ family income from all sources combined should be less than INR 4 lakh per year.
Candidates pursuing undergraduate professional courses such as MBBS, BDS, B. Tech and Hotel Management will be given preference.
Students already enrolled in an undergraduate programme are not eligible for this scholarship.
Applicants should be able to provide authentic recommendation from two separate sources guaranteeing their previous academic success, as well as mental and physical fitness.

Benefits offered
Selected scholars will receive a scholarship amount of up to INR 50000 per year to cover academic expenses such as admission fees, tuition fees, hostel charges (in-campus only), stationery, books, and conveyance.
