What did the HT Code-a-thon 2021 include?
The HT Code-a-thon 2021 was a 4-month long coding programme. Its primary objective was to allow students to learn coding concepts and allow them to showcase their knowledge, talent and competence in a national-level competition held after the initial learning part. The self-paced course was divided into several modules, all designed for different three age groups. The programme was divided into three phases: 1. The learning phase, 2. The qualifier round and 3. The final competition. The last phase, i.e., the final Olympiad was organised jointly by IBM and SpeEdlabs, an AI-based learning platform. The top 600 qualifiers from the second phase competed in the finals for the top 3 positions. In total, 18 winners emerged as the round was divided into 2 zones: North and South for all the three age groups.
