Nowadays, many students rely on the knowledge of Google to help them out with their summer assignments. It has always come to their aid when everything else failed them. But with most of their education now being conducted through online platforms, students’ dependence on the internet and educational apps has increased manifold. A recent survey, conducted by Brainly, an education technology company, bears testimony to the fact. This research had been conducted to map out the existing and emerging education trends.
Findings of the study

Implications of the findings
The survey brings to light the increasing role of online learning platforms and marks a move towards more dynamic, responsive, and community-led solutions for accessing and sharing knowledge. This has led to a trend of increase in self-reliance and confidence amongst students through collaborative efforts to engage in active learning. On one hand, this can be due to the easy access and availability of technology and internet which promotes such collaborations. On the other hand, it could also be indicative of the effect of decreased opportunity for students to interact and socialise with their peers physically. All these factors combine together to contribute to the increasing preference of students for digital connections with fellow students.
