ClassAct 2022, The Hindustan Times Republic Day Quiz, which concluded with the Grand Finale on 26th January, has been officially declared as Asia’s largest online quiz, thanks to the largescale participation that it witnessed in the Prelims round on 23rd January. According to the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records, ClassAct 2022, hosted by revered quizmasters, Dr. Navin Jayakumar and Mr. Avinash Mudaliar, is the record holder for 'Maximum Participation in an Online School Quiz'. HT School talks to the quizzing champions of the Junior category who made it to the Top 20.

Interactive quizzes help students learn better. Sharing his experience about ClassAct 2022, Reyansh says, “Through this quiz, I learnt so much about different things in an engaging way.” He found the quiz to be very well conceptualised. Questions related to cartoons were his favourite.
Before this international quizzing contest, Reyansh had participated in school quizzes only. “My parents and sister kept me motivated throughout the contest,” he shares.

Since a very young age, Dhyana actively participates in various academic and extracurricular activities such as quizzing. ClassAct 2022 was an event she thoroughly enjoyed. "It was superb as I increased my knowledge in different areas. I hope to come back and participate in many more quizzes organised by Hindustan Times,” she says.

Advik’s school keeps on hosting different extracurricular activities for the students. Information related to art, culture, nature and environmental science is disseminated to budding learners through such topics. Exposure to these topics helped the little quizzing geek to figure out answers to some questions easily. “It was the first time that I have participated in a quiz. Moreover, coming 14th among so many other children makes me really happy,” says Advik while sharing his journey through ClassAct 2022.
Advik found the picture-based questions to be quite interesting. “I could easily relate to the images which made it easier for me to answer the questions,” he says.
