The much-awaited Grand Finale of ClassAct 2022, the Hindustan Times Republic Day Quiz was conducted by HT School on 26th January. This online school quiz for students, which saw participation from all across India and abroad, was streamed on Hindustan Times Republic Day Quiz official website and the official YouTube channel of HT School for quiz enthusiasts to watch it live. The Prelims round of ClassAct 2022, which was held on 23rd January, also saw a record-breaking participation with 32, 644 students from 32 countries competing for a slot in the Grand Finale. ClassAct 2022 is expected to break all participation records in the field of online quizzes. While 40 winners from the Junior category of the preliminary round were announced yesterday, the winners of the final round will be announced shortly on the official page of the quiz.
One hundred and seventy-five finalists participated in the nail-biting competition. Held in Zoom and Quizziz platforms, the Grand Finale was hosted by celebrated Indian quizmasters Dr. Navin Jayakumar and Avinash Mudaliar. The topics of questions ranged from sports and general knowledge to science and popular culture. There were 30 questions in total, out of which there were both multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and type-in ones. Here, we take you through the most popular questions from the Grand Finale.
