Switch Hit – Hindustan Times Cricket League Quiz: Registrations to close on 29th April
Since 2008, cricket enthusiasts in India have lived and breathed the domestic men’s T20 cricket league, the Indian Premier League (IPL). Over the years, the tournament has had its own set of limelight, from players getting banned to teams leaving after one or two editions. This year, IPL commenced on 31st March and will continue till 28th May with 10 teams fighting for the coveted trophy. Till now, there have been quite a few nail-biting matches, close finishes, and much more. With the 16th edition of IPL heating up, HT School decided to add to the cricket frenzy with yet another quiz: Switch Hit – Hindustan Times Cricket League Quiz. While the registrations for this round are open till 29th April, the National Semi Final and National Final will take place on 6th and 7th May respectively.
The hour-long Qualifier Round will take place asynchronously on the Kahoot! platform where all registered candidates can participate. It will have 50 questions in type-in and multiple-choice formats. Top 100 from this round will qualify for the National Semi-Final that will also take place asynchronously on Kahoot! From there, top 10 will make it to the National Final which will be conducted on Zoom by revered quizmaster Mr. Meghashyam Prabodh Shirodkar.
