4 creative Canva projects students can take up

Canva is a free online graphic design tool that anyone can use to create a variety of designs. It's a cloud-based, online website that can be accessed from any device at any time. All the projects worked on Canva are saved online, hence making it accessible from anywhere round the globe. Canva comes with a plethora of templates to choose from along with a host of other user-friendly features for everyone. In fact, your kids can use the software on their laptops, tablets and even through an iOS and android applications. We’ve compiled a list of four creative projects that your little learners can try making on Canva. 

Event-based posters 

School days are full of various kinds of events and extracurricular activities for kids. How about taking your young learners through a different learning approach towards school celebrations? Be it a school music concert, a play, a dance show, a sports competition, a race or even a charity sale, creating event posters is quite easy with Canva. Encourage your children to put their creative muscles to use and design a cool event poster with the relevant theme. It’s a wonderful way to get your kids excited about upcoming events while letting them create a buzz about them. 

Resume of a fictional character 
Yes, you read it right. Since we are talking of all things creative, why leave fictional characters behind? Be it a protagonist from a Shakespearean play, such as Miranda from The Tempest or a favourite cartoon character on television like Dexter – Canva’s templates can help kids create interesting resume. The possibilities are unlimited, and it's a great way for kids to be truly imaginative in terms of what they want to include on the resume. They can include a breakdown of work experience, a brief biography of the person, a part on their schooling, (if available), a headshot, a ‘fun facts’ section using Canva's icons, and so on. 

Science diagrams 

Science is all around us, and so are the diagrams related to different scientific concepts! While practising those elaborate photosynthesis, seed germination and water cycle drawings in lab manuals were a drag; not any more with Canva. You can depict the process and style of drawing the labelled parts of a flower or a cell to your school goer.
