Teens can find a voice, an audience, and an incredible outlet for self-expression by creating a YouTube channel. But YouTube is a very vast sea of content creators and it is difficult to gain the traction to catapult a channel to success. At the very least, proper utilisation of all the features YouTube offers can help stay competitive in terms of quality. Here is all your budding YouTuber needs to know about these features.
Music
YouTube has a big library of high-quality, 320kbps audio tracks and sound effects that can be downloaded royalty-free. Your youngster can add them to their videos. The navigation bar on the left side of YouTube Studio has the Audio Library tab. After choosing a track, one can download it directly on the computer as an MP3 file. Your kid can also add it to a particular video after it has been uploaded through the editing tab on YouTube studio.
Transcript
Both YouTube and its parent company Google look at a number of factors when ranking videos in search. Transcript is one of them. To add a transcript to a video your teenager has to follow these steps:
YouTube offers three options for uploading a transcript:
End Screens
A fancy closing screen that encourages viewers to keep watching the videos are called end screens. Here, the video creator can display more visually pleasing call-to-action cards in the last 30 seconds of the content. These cards can be used to advertise products used in the videos or links to the creator’s website. If viewers tap the "i" in the upper-right hand corner of a video, the cards expand. These features are accessible right when one uploads a new video. Your budding YouTuber can also add them later on by clicking the edit icon on the uploaded video.
Channel Trailer
YouTube provides the feature for its users to upload a Channel Trailer to their homepage. A Channel Trailer is a video designed to help people quickly learn about a YouTube channel. When enabled, this trailer is automatically displayed at the top of a YouTube Channel Page for non-subscribed visitors. This can be uploaded through the Customizations tab in YouTube Studio.
