Online or virtual learning is as such not a pioneering concept, however it has become a requisite during the post-pandemic education world. This popularly growing model has now introduced a new meaning in the teaching-learning domain. In fact, it has managed to break several stereotypes over a short span of time by quickly finding an alternative to offline classroom teaching. Although the shift towards digital learning was sudden, it has enabled the continuity of the teaching-learning experience. There are both pros and cons to virtual learning. While the children can study from the comforts of their home, the task of the parents to constantly supervise them have been an added responsibility. However, in the lack of other options, it has become imperative to continue with this practice for the benefits of the students, the faculties, and the society as a whole. Combining face-to-face classroom teaching with technology through the use of flipped classroom has also enhanced the learning potential of the students. Although teachers had to go through strenuous training sessions, eventually the entire teaching community voluntarily put in these efforts to facilitate holistic learning among the next generations. With accessibility to several online resources many teaching-learning challenges were also overcome.
