With parents and family becoming the sole physical connection a student has with people because of the COVID-19 pandemic, parents' role in facilitating their learning has increased manifold. Children are not used to learning alone. Their connection with their teachers and peers getting cut off and classroom learning having shifted to their living room, parents need to make up for an appropriate learning environment for them. Understanding the status of their mental health, communicating regularly and creating a classroom feel to their online experience is necessary. Tracking their progress and participation in their activities curricular or otherwise is effective. In this video, watch Ms. Manju Rana, principal of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, talk about the importance of communication between parents and their children and what role they play in the learning process.
