Why you should motivate your kid to participate in quizzes
Not only are quizzes a fun activity for students, they also provide a platform for learning that departs from a traditional classroom experience. Quizzes are more engaging mentally, and also help develop other life skills such as time management, communication, social skills, critical thinking, and sportsmanship. They help kids to develop self-awareness and also encourage them to take responsibility of assessing themselves and their calibre. Participating in quizzes boosts innovative learning, as the knowledge is not just limited to what is in the textbook. Instead, it requires application, research and a critical mind which thinks beyond the obvious and ordinary. Quiz competitions challenge one’s existing knowledge while simultaneously stimulating interest in learning about a new subject matter. So, what are you waiting for? It’s time for your child to put on the thinking cap and get InQUIZitive!
