In today’s digital age that we live in, using technology in the classroom is commonplace. Therefore, it is not surprising to observe that the edtech sector is experiencing rapid expansion. Fuelling this growth is coding, one of the modern digital skills that is now essential for students. Well, coding not only broadens their job options but also equips students with transferable skills like problem-solving, critical/analytical thinking, logic, decision-making, and more. Considering this, HT School organised HT Code-a-thon 2022, the second iteration of its coding competition. Consequently, coders in grades 4 to 9 got a golden opportunity to master the fundamentals of coding through this national-level online competition. Acer, a well-known technology brand and an enabler in the education sector, was the tech partner for HT Code-a-thon 2022. The event was conducted in two rounds: the Qualifiers and the Finale, while the felicitation ceremony was held virtually on April 27, 2023.
