The world of underwater sports is an exciting one. It involves holding one's breath, snorkeling and scuba . In these aqua games, masks and fins are often used. These sports are carried out in lakes and in artificial aquatic environments such as swimming pools. Hockey, aquathlon, finswimming, sport diving, underwater rugby, spearfishing, underwater football and orienteering are some of the most popular aqua games. While hockey is a non-contact sport requiring 6 players, aquathlon is wrestling between two participants. Sport diving, on the other hand involves a set of individual and team events in a swimming pool. It tests the competitors' competency in recreational scuba diving. Finswimming requires a participant to swim wearing a monofin or two fins. Underwater rugby is a non-contact sport where a salt-filled plastic ball is used to score a goal. Spearfishing is defined as the underwater hunting and capture of fish using gear that completely depends on the participant's strength. Underwater football is played in a swimming pool with snorkeling equipment. In orienteering, the participants' navigation skills under the water is tested.
