These three countries cover most of the Earth's surface

The surface of the Earth spans over an area of 510 million sq km. However, But less than 30 per cent of it is covered by land. The rest is water, in the form of vast oceans. All the countries of the world make up for less than one third of our planet's surface. The United Nations Statistics Division has ranked them on the basis of their share of Earth's surface. While Russia covers 3.34 per cent of the Earth's surface area, Canada's share is 1.96 per cent, followed by China (1.88 per cent). India's share of the Earth's surface is 0.64 per cent.
