You'll never be able to visit these places

Humans have tried to explore and map out every inch of earth that they can reach. Yet, there are parts of the world that are yet to be discovered and remain a mystery to mankind. What is surprising, however, is that there exist places where it is possible for us to reach but they have been closed off for visitors. They either pose a threat to human existence or are safeguarded for the preservation of its environment. Here’s a list of four such places. 

North Sentinel Island, Andaman Islands  
The North Sentinel Island, a part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal, is isolated from the modern society. The island is protected by the Indian government. It has managed to stay untouched for more than 50,000 years. This is because it is home to the Sentinelese tribe who are not very appreciative of visitors, to say the least. They usually resort to violence to maintain their isolation from the outside world, which is why this region is strictly prohibited for visitors. 

Snake Island, Brazil 
As the name implies. this is a Brazilian island home to thousands of poisonous snakes. No person is willing to risk their life stepping onto this island. There are said to be around 4,000 golden lanceheads on the island, the deadliest snakes on the planet. The Brazilian government has barred all guests from entering this location. However, a small group of scientists are allowed here to research on snakes. 

Doomsday Vault, Norway 
In the midst of the Arctic Svalbard archipelago, the Doomsday Vault is a seed bank, a secure vault that preserves a variety of plant seeds in the event of a global disaster or apocalypse. From every little corner all around the world, big boxes of seeds are delivered to the Doomsday Vault for storing them in the long term. The vault doesn’t allow the general public. Only special guests can enter on certain days. 

Area 51, USA 
In Southern Nevada, USA, lies a US military base that is shrouded in conspiracy theories. Area 51 has baffled the public for decades. The purpose of the clandestine military base is said to be the testing ground for weapons and aircraft but there is quite a bit of speculation regarding the same. Many people believe it is hiding evidence of extra-terrestrial life and is used for alien testing. It is off limits for the public and while the grounds are well-fortified with mines and other defences, the government barely acknowledges the existence of Area-51.
