One of the most sought-after and best-selling boy bands in the world, Backstreet Boys, the US-based vocal group is all set to make their much-anticipated comeback in India in the coming May, after a long hiatus of 13 years. This is going to be part of their blockbuster DNA World Tour, that had begun back in 2019.
The band comprising of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean and cousins Brian Littrell and Keven Richardson have been entertaining global pop and rock music fans since 1993.
As per several media reports, Backstreet Boys will be performing in Mumbai’s Jio World Gardens on 4th May and New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 5th May. The popular online ticketing platforms BookMyShow and Live Nation will be bringing this well-adored boy band to the country for a two-day, two-city tour.
Celebrating 30 glorious years of their heart-warming and award-winning journey, Backstreet Boys forays into the country hoping to have houseful shows and best live audiences.
After India, the legendary boy band will stop in countries like the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Bahrain, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and more. This year’s DNA World Tour is meant to celebrate their choreographic legacy as well as musical prowess.
Sources cite that they are all set to play songs from their most recent album (10th studio album) DNA including, ‘Chances’, ‘No Place’ and ‘Don’t Go Crushing My Heart’. Backstreet Boys may also deliver some of their iconic songs such as ‘As Long As You Love Me’, ‘Shape of My Heart’, ‘I Want It That Way’ as well as ‘Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely’.
Interestingly, the boy band has also released the first episode of their new documentary series Making of the DNA Tour offering the fans the inside look of their preparation for their concerts.
