The level 1 exam of ‘Hindustan Olympiad’ 2022, one of the largest Olympiads of the world, will start from March 11, 2022. With a legacy spanning through 6 years, it has provided a unique platform for students all over India from grades 1-12 to compete at a national level. It is a great platform for students to test their academic abilities and make them aware of their strengths and weaknesses. The 2022 version of Hindustan Olympiad is being jointly organised by 'Doubtnut', a popular online learning platform, and HT Media. More than 65,000 students from across the country have registered to participate in the Hindustan Olympiad this year.
Exam dates, schedule, duration and structure
The exam, which will be conducted online, is divided into two levels. Participants will be allowed to refer to books in the first level, which is scheduled between March 11 and 13th. One the other hand, the second level will be proctored. Students will have to book their preferred slot for their level-1 exam between March 8-10, 2022. If for some reason a candidate fails to take the exam on the given date, he/she can take it on March 20, 2022.
The duration the level 1 exam of the Olympiad will be 1 hour long, wherein participants will have to answer a total of 50 multiple-choice questions and fill in the blanks. All subjects, based on the student’s grade, will be covered in the test. The syllabus is aligned with the school curriculum of each grade.
Marking scheme
For every correct answer, participants will be awarded 1 mark. There will be no negative marking in any of the rounds whatsoever. Ranking will be done on the basis of marks. In case of a tiebreaker, the one who manages to complete the test in the shorter duration will be given a higher rank.

Selection process
The top 10% students from each grade will qualify for the finale, which is scheduled for 25th Match. Twelve toppers from each district and 12 from each state will be declared will be declared winners after the final. They will be awarded with exciting prizes. The felicitation ceremony will be conducted on March 29, 2022.
Prizes for the winners
The toppers of the Hindustan Olympiad will walk away with an array of exciting prizes. Each state topper will receive a cash prize of ₹5100 and Direct entry to Doubtnut Super-100 Batch. Each district topper will receive ₹2100. Other than this, both district and state toppers will also get free access to Doubtnut Premium Courses and a certificate of merit. The toppers at the school level will receive 50% scholarship on Doubtnut Premium Courses. Moreover, all participants will be given a participation certificate and a detailed assessment report.
Study resources for participants
Doubtnet ensured that all participants of the Hindustan Olympiad were well-equipped with study resources. For this, they were provided with a content prep kit which varied according to the grade. Here is what each kit contained-
