Hindustan Times is all set to kick off the Season 2 of HT Dialogues series from March 29, 2022. This unique initiative by HT is a monthly panel discussion covering some of the most pressing issues related to learning and teaching. HT Dialogues welcomes school principals, educationists and other luminaries from the field of education to share their views and perspectives on education and learning-based topics. Through this panel discussion, HT not only reflects the challenges of the present educational system, but also focusses on solutions for the future.
For its first episode of Season 2, HT Dialogues, will be an insightful discussion on the topic, “The Big Shift to Bridge the Learning Gap.” The panelists for this discussion are Dr. Ameeta Mulla Wattal, Chairperson and Executive Director, DLF Foundation, Gurugram and former Principal, Springdales School, Pusa Road; Richa Agnihotri, Principal, Sanskriti School, who has helped develop the CBSE CCE Handbook for teachers and formulate the CBSE Curriculum for Science; Dr. Susmita Ram, Associate Professor, Department of Elementary Education, Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.

The range of topics to be discussed in the Episode 1 of HT Dialogues Season 2 include learning gaps that have developed as students returned back to school this year, how schools are navigating ways to tackle the extended closure due to lockdown, how virtual education has accustomed students to learning through screens, and students’ socio-emotional loss due to the pandemic, among others.
Through HT Dialogues and several other initiatives launched by HT School, a tech-inspired, event-led platform, HT is setting the agenda of the education domain and ensuring holistic development of students.
