Crispminds in collaboration with Career Saarthi and supported by HT PACE organised ‘Build to Last’, a wellness initiative that hosted four panel discussions with a total of 14 panellists, about mastering resilience in adverse times like the pandemic on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.
Crispminds is a platform for everything related to parenting with an aim to empower parents with advice and solutions that reduce parental burnout. As a platform, Crispminds is making parents ‘Rethink Parenting.’
Event partner Career Saarthi is an online AI-based platform, founded by Anjali Saraogi, that is a guidance partner for many prestigious schools and corporates in India and helps the students above Grade 8 to achieve their career goals through their meticulous career planning and counselling services.
The event hosted by Swarleen Kaur kick-started with a quick introduction by Crispminds founders followed by an enlightening keynote address by Guest of Honour, Preeti Kwatra, Chairperson, Petals Group of Schools.
The first panel talked about Cracking the Wellness Code and comprised Counselling Psychologist Meenu Bhargava, Work-life Balance Coach, Mahua Raman, Yoga and Fitness Instructor Neha Singh and Therapeutic Nutritionist Kanika Arora.
They all shared insights on how positive thoughts, a balanced work and personal life, a good fitness routine and stress busting diet can help achieve mental prosperity.
In the second panel, Conscious Parenting Coach, Dipti Gala talked about how equations between parents and children changed during the pandemic. Renowned Mumbai-based paediatrician Dr Zinal Unadkat Shah, shed light on why children are anxious and scared in crowds now. She also shared tips for parents on dealing with this issue.
Educationist Shobha Mathur and psychologist Aakanksha Awasthi spoke about fears and anxieties of children and adults related to reopening of schools and offices.
The third panel addressed communication issues between couples and families. Aptly titled, ‘Rules of Engagement’, this panel shed light on important and pivotal topics like resolving conflict and confrontations at home and work.
Relationship Therapist, Kritika Dharia, Millennial Marriage Coach, Leena Paranjape, and Communication Expert, Sonal Sheth discussed the various aspects of conflict and confrontations in millennials on the home and work front.
The fourth panel comprised Anjali Saraogi, Financial Coach, Samraat Jadhav and Kids Etiquette and Career Coach Farida Dahee.
This panel shared insights on how education and admission scenarios had changed due to the pandemic, the importance of financial planning at an early age and the increasing interest in entrepreneurship in parents and students alike.
Crispminds took this opportunity to announce the launch of their Parent and Family Wellness app that will help parents get the right information on a wide range of topics through self-help videos and blogs. Parents will be able to conveniently book a consultation to seek advice on child behaviour, nutrition, heath, career guidance and more. Experts will also guide them on topics like family finance, work-life balance and marital & family relationships.
The mobile app will offer parents a journal to easily track and observe specific events and incidents to get advice and personalized solutions from experts.
Crispminds Parent and Family wellness app will be available on android and iOS platforms from next month. Future sessions of ‘Build to Last’ will cover parenting and wellness related topics in more depth and will be available for parents through social media as well.
The online event saw enthusiastic participation from parents and students across Delhi NCR and Mumbai. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Crispminds Co-founder Prerna Mahajan, where she reaffirmed that Crispminds is looking to establish a long-term association with parents, schools and corporates to make a positive impact by de-stressing lives of parents, students and educators.
