Humanities and social sciences may not be as popular as engineering or medical streams, but these fields also come with their own set of scopes and opportunities in both academia and professional sectors.
Keeping this in mind, Indian Institute of Technology’s (one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India) Madras campus offers undergraduate courses for students interested in pursuing humanities and social sciences. The institute conducts a national level entrance exam called IIT Madras Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Exam or HSEE in short, for entry into its five-year integrated bachelors plus master’s programme in the relevant subjects, offered by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the university.
This year this all-India admission test happened on 7th August across 14 Indian cities. Next year’s registration will commence from February 2022. Here’s everything interested candidates need to know about HSEE.
