And to mark a break in the journey of the legendary character, Apple TV+ has a treat for fans.

‘The Sound of 007’, a documentary commemorating music from James Bond movies will debut on Apple TV+ in October 2022 to mark the 60th anniversary of brand Bond. No surprise that James Bond, and movie enthusiasts in general, are buzzing at the announcement.

The programme will explore the creation of soundtracks from films such as ‘Dr. No’ and the renowned 007 theme song. This movie was released in 1962 and starred Sean Connery. The documentary will explore soundtracks from all the films, including the iconic title tracks. It will delve into material around classical scores from composers such as John Barry, and look at modern Bond soundtrack ballads by artists like Adele (remember ‘Skyfall’?), Jack White, Billie Eilish and Sam Smith. Who is making ‘The Sound of 007’?
Apple TV+ and the official James Bond website have both put up announcements, since it’s a joint venture. Metro Goldwyn Meyer (MGM) and Eon Productions will coproduce it with Apple TV+ and it promises to be suitably lavish.
