HT Dialogues: Both schools and parents are responsible for learning

By Hindustan Times,

In this session, parents and educationists talk about ways to handle the unique challenges of online classes.

Virtual classes have increased parents' responsibility in ensuring learning outcomes.

Online classes have blurred the boundary between school and home. In the pre-COVID era of physical classes, it was the responsibility of schools to ensure that children attended classes and paid attention to what was being taught. But now, with children attending school from home, these responsibilities have shifted to parents. In this School Edition of HT Dialogues, parents and experts discuss about these changing dynamics.
Panelists: Dr. Anubha Rajesh, Professor, Jamia’s Centre for Early Childhood Development & Research, Dr Manisha Sharma, Principal, Venkateswar International school, Dwarka, Delhi, Mrs. Mamta Singh, Teacher, TGT English, Delhi Police Public School, Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi, Ms. Sanchari De, Academic Coordinator, CP Goenka International school, Borivali, Mumbai, Ms. Mridula Grover, Parent, Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi
