Shortage of clean water is a crisis that has plagued the entire world. Millions of people do not have access to hygienic drinking water, and according to some estimates, close to 2 billion people have no choice but to use contaminated water. Estimates of the World Health Organisation suggest that by 2025, about 1.8 billion people will live in in water-stressed areas.  

But the good news is, with the advancement of technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), tackling the global water crisis through the right implementation can be much easier than before. In fact, many organisations are using AI to prevent wastage of water and know more about how it can be used with optimal efficiency. Take Intel for example.
