Cartooning and Caricature (Junior)

About The Course

Do your kids love watching cartoons? We bet they do! Have they ever read comics? Some of them may have. But, what do you think of them being able to draw cartoons and caricatures? What makes a cartoon hilarious? What features make a caricature easily identifiable with the person? How do cartoonists express humour with minimal words?
We will be demonstrating all this and so much more in this course. The topics will be global and very relatable to children. They will be taught in a step-by-step method, with the added fun and excitement of cartooning. While cartooning is fun, playful and engaging, children gain mastery in a unique drawing style and improve their core learning skills. We assure you that this is not just any other drawing course!
This course will comprise all elements of drawing, such as proportions, balance, perspectives, placement, expressions, motion and so on. We only use basic mediums for colouring—crayons, pencil colours, chalk pastels, colour markers or brush pens, as we focus on colour theory and related concepts.

Who Is This Course For?

This course is specifically designed for kids to enhance their expressive abilities, break free from inhibitions about drawing and have fun!
