About The Course

    In his first-ever online class, the National Award-winning Film Director, Madhur Bhandarkar, teaches his approach, from storytelling to editing to working with actors. He practically teaches on-set Direction to make hard-hitting movies in a small budget. In this course, Madhur Bhandarkar teaches you to deconstruct movie opening scenes, the confrontation between characters, silence in cinema and closing sequences.
    He also explains his hallmark style and guides you to develop your unique directing style. He explains what you should look out for when scouting for real-life locations and also shares his personal location scouting checklist. He also explains how he researches for his movies and the different types of research you can use to forge a stronger connection with the audience.
