We want students to have fun, and so ClassAct 2023 - The Hindustan Times Republic Day Quiz is open to all students of Grades 1 to 12.

We know you’re a team player, but the ClassAct 2023 Quiz is an individual event and NOT a team event. There is no restriction on the number of students who can participate from a school.

We care for your safety, and so the Prelims and the Finale will be conducted online.

You can register for the ClassAct 2023 Quiz by filling the above registration form. It is mandatory for you to enrol using a registered email ID and mobile number to receive updates on the Prelims and the Finale. The last date to register for the Quiz is January 25, 2023 (11:59 PM).

The ClassAct 2023 Quiz will be hosted by Quizzing Legends, Dr. Navin Jayakumar and Avinash Mudaliar. An Ophthalmologist by profession and a Quizmaster by passion, Dr. Navin is the founding member of The Quiz Foundation of India, and the current President of the Indian Neuro-Opthalmology Society. He is also the Quizmaster for many reputed quizzes, such as the Landmark Quiz, the Murugappa Madras Quotient School Quiz and the Rotary Galaxy Science and Technology Quiz, to name a few. Dr. Navin and Avinash have decades of experience hosting distinguished quizzes and are well-known in the Quizzing fraternity in India and abroad.

The Quiz will comprise two rounds–the Prelims and the Finale. The Prelims will be conducted on January 26, 2023 (Thursday) and the Finale will be conducted on February 5, 2023 (Sunday).

The Prelims Quiz link will be sent via email to the registered students. Students will have to submit the quiz within the stipulated time period, for example between 11 am and 12 noon IST. During this time, a participant can only attempt the Prelims once, using the registered email ID and mobile number.

The Prelims will comprise multiple choice questions. A combination of accuracy and speed will be considered while computing the final score. The Prelims will be conducted on the Quizizz platform.

The top 100 contestants will compete in the Finale, which will be conducted on Zoom on February 5, 2023, with Quizmasters Dr. Navin Jayakumar and Avinash Mudaliar.

Only the top 100 contestants of the Senior Category (Grades 6 to 12) will make it to the Finale, purely based on their scores in the Prelims. The decision of the Quizmasters will be final and binding.

The winners of the Finale will be selected purely based on their performance in the Finale. The decision of the Quizmasters will be final and binding.

The Top 20 winners of the Finale will be awarded exciting Amazon gift vouchers. In addition, the Top 20 students from the Junior Category (Grades 1 to 5) will win special Amazon vouchers, based on their Prelims scores. A total of ₹ 1.25 lakh worth of Amazon vouchers will be up for grabs! All participants also get Participation Certificates.
